SIS Gateway Information and FAQs

SIS Gateway Information Page for Parents and Students
Posted on 08/03/2018

What is the SIS Gateway?
The SIS Gateway is the Edline replacement tool for parents and students. The SIS Gateway provides parents and students with real-time access to student information including schedule, grades, attendance, assessment data, and much more.

How will parents be notified?
Starting August 6, 2018, a call-out will notify parents that a District letter will be mailed with directions and information on how/where to register for a SIS Gateway account. The District letter will contain the criteria needed to register for an account (Student Name, Student ID, and PIN.)

Parents will have three ways to access the SIS Gateway:
1. The District home page
2. The school’s web page
3. The Palm Beach County School District Mobile App

Note: Any new student registrations that were entered into SIS after July 22, 2018, will not receive the District mailer. Any new student registrations after July 22, 2018 or for parents/guardians that lost/didn't receive the District letter, a Parent Letter for Gateway Access can be printed or emailed from the SIS system to the custodial parent(s)/guardian(s).

The school Gateway Manager and school staff with “school-wide” SIS access can perform this task.

How will students access the SIS Gateway?
Starting August 6, 2018, students will have single sign-on access through the District Enterprise Portal by clicking on the “SIS Gateway” tile.

Who will be providing Gateway support to your school ?
The school Gateway Manager will be providing support for parents, students, and staff.  The Gateway Manager will print/email the Parent Letter for Gateway Access in SIS to parents/guardians of new students or parents/guardians who have lost or not received a letter. They can also be contacted for technical support.
